My dear Country Pakistan-I

Today, i came to know that we are blessed with God-gifted bounties of natural resources of water that we can easily use to provide cheap electricity for our uses. God has given pakistan five magnificiant rivers which flow from top (in the north) and passing from the whole country fall in the south (in the Arabian Sea). This naturally driven water through the mountains in the north, provides the cheapest form of electricity that could be obtained anywhere in the world. The governments of other countries, are planning for not-so-safe nuclear energy for meeting their energy requirements; however we don't even need to do that. With subtantial scarcity in the oil resources, this water could be used to produce cheap or in other words free electricity.

However, there are other concerns of Dams, as they are Sociologically or Environmentally not to the fullest benefit. They can destroy the ecological balance and inhabitance of the local area. This reaches to imbalance and trade-offs can be seen. As many industries may grow, many new crops can come forward, many jobs created; but on the other hand, people at the downstream may get less of what they were getting, as a result loss to their livelihood (agriculture/forestry). However since the building of the dams, the water management systems of pakistan has improved. More people have acess to pure water (especially in Karachi) and more industries have grown up as well as more crops (which require higher amounts of water) . So in a way, livelihood is created but in other means; which might not be acceptable or favourable to some. Also, if industries are initiated and more jobs with it, that might have affected a crop from growing resultantly lower staple or dairy food etc. which might have shifted the burden on the exchequer of the import of the country.

The important thing worth noticing is that the whole of UK and many parts of the world in general rely on the electricity produced through Oil Resources which are being quickly depleted. The cost of electricity generation is also more than from dams (built on these rivers) and also this does not Pollute the climate.

The whole of UK gets electricity from Oil/gas reserves in the North Sea, they have no free flowing rivers to produce electricity. This is a God's Gift we've been given. Even producing electricity from Nuclear Resources is not cheaper and the Environmental Regulations are great! In addition, i know the current bill for waste management of UK's ageing nuclear plants stands at £56 billion!

London

now, this is another my great city. i like it, its people. i dont know what to express when i came here. its just amazing! There r many different nationalities and races and all living in one place. May be on earth, there is no place so lively so diversified as this. Whatever ! i like it. But the burden of thing is that these people may not give me a permanent work status, so i may not be able to live here and move somewhere else. Wherever i go, i make friends, meet new people and learn many things.
get back soon!

Lahore

I have lived in Lahore for quite a long time now. I love this city, its beauty, culture, life and people. The reason is that it is a very social city with great activities with people from every walk of life. Rich and poor and everything looks right. There is no discrimination. Even poor people can live with rich coz there r separate colonies for them near the rich ones. People r friendly, too much activity is reported in the city. First hand knowledge and first hand opportunity.
